A FreeBSD 11 Desktop How-to
2017-03-23 23:03The Cooltrainer FreeBSD Desktop Guide is updated to cover FreeBSD 11 and various changes to the software ecosystem. Not that much is different. My own upgrade from 10.3 to 11.0 went basically flawlessly and in fact I haven’t really worked on my computer since the last time I updated that page in 2014. It just keeps chugging along. Aside from that nvidia-modeset thing that scared me once after upgrading my packages because I didn’t read UPDATING. My fault :)
