2014-07-17 22:07Hi. I didn’t forget I have a blog! It took me longer than I planned to convert my site from Octopress to the upstream Jekyll. Octopress hasn’t seen an update in three years, and I stopped using its theme and most of its plugins. Octopress is stuck with Jekyll 0.11 so getting everything working with Jekyll 2.0 and a new markdown engine took some cleanup.
To make the update worth the wait I published a big new version of my FreeBSD desktop guide, now at /a-freebsd-desktop-howto/ since having a dated URL didn’t make sense any more.
